Paul Pogba Faces Suspension Over Doping Test
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

Juventus and France midfielder, Paul Pogba, faces provisional suspension following a positive doping test for the banned substance testosterone, as reported by Italian anti-doping authorities (NADO). NADO confirmed that the detected substance, “Non-endogenous testosterone metabolites,” aligns with doping rules.

This suspension relates to Pogba’s ‘A’ sample, and should his ‘B’ sample also confirm the presence of testosterone, he could potentially face a four-year ban. The incident occurred during the Italian Serie A season’s opening day when Juventus played Udinese on August 20, and Pogba was an unused substitute.
