Osun State welcomes its new Commissioner of Police, Bzigu Dali Kwazhi, who assumed duty on Thursday, January 4, 2024, succeeding CP Isyaku Mohammed. The announcement was made by SP Yemisi Opalola, the Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Police Command.
Commissioner Kwazhi, born in Mildu Madagali LGA of Adamawa State, brings a wealth of experience, having joined the Nigeria Police Force in May 1992.
His extensive career includes serving in various capacities across different states and internationally, notably as a Contingent Commander for Nigeria Formed Police Units in the UN Mission in Liberia.
The deployment follows the recent redeployment of former CP Isyaku Mohammed, who assumed office in Osun State on November 10, 2023.
The transition signifies a shift in leadership within the state’s police command, emphasizing the continuous commitment to effective law enforcement and public safety.
