The Oyo State Pensions Board heartily felicitates with His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, FNSE, Executive Governor of Oyo State, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message, personally signed by the Executive Chairman of the Board – Hon Tunji Rafiu Adekunle, JP, the board described Governor Makinde as a “visionary and compassionate leader whose administration has brought unprecedented relief, dignity, and renewed hope to pensioners across Oyo State”.
The Board particularly acknowledged His Excellency’s remarkable achievements in the pension sector, including the regular and prompt payment of pensions, consistent release of funds for gratuity payments, and the gradual clearance of inherited pension arrears. These interventions, the Board noted, have significantly improved the welfare, morale, and living conditions of retired public servants in the state.
It states further:”Governor Makinde’s approval of pension reforms, support for biometric verification exercises, and commitment to transparency and accountability in pension administration have further strengthened trust and stability within the system, setting Oyo State apart as a model for pension management in Nigeria.
As His Excellency marks another year, the Oyo State Pensions Board prays that Almighty God grants him good health, renewed strength, and greater wisdom to continue delivering people-centred governance and sustainable development for the benefit of all residents of the state.
The Board wishes His Excellency a happy birthday and many more years of impactful service to Oyo State and the nation at large”, the statement concluded.
