Lagelu 16 Club of Ibadan, an affiliate of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII has re-elected Alhaji Adegboyega Sanni, a retired comptroller of Customs as its Chairman for another term.
Other officers of the club elected are Vice President, Pastor Niyi Akangbe, Secretary General,Ademola Solalu, Asst. Secretary,Lekan Ogunrinde,Social Secretary,Bayo Asimolowo,Treasurer/Financial Secretary,Lawal Babatunde,PRO/Welfare- Lere Ayinde,Chief whip,Abiodun Akinyele, House Governor,Segun Eniade
In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Sanni solicited the support and cooperation of members in order to achieve his administration’s set objectives among which is the procurement of a Club house.
He assured that his administration will continue to partner with the CCII in promoting and sustaining the legacies of the founding fathers of Ibadanland .
“I want to thank the elders and entire for the confidence repose in me. I assure you that we will not disappoint you We shall continue to partner with the CCII. We shall reposition the Club to occupy its rightful position as a foremost affiliate of the Council “,he submitted.
