The suspects admitted their role in the crime, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the incident.

In another distressing incident, the police apprehended Yusuf Haruna, popularly known as Lagwatsani, in the Dala Local Government Area.

Haruna stands accused of fatally stabbing renowned Imam Sani Mohammed Shuaibu. The Imam had reportedly warned Haruna’s gang against smoking Indian hemp around the mosque premises, leading to a violent confrontation.

The Command, led by CP Usaini Gumel, reassures the public of its commitment to thorough investigations in both cases.

The objective is not only to bring the perpetrators to justice but also to deter others contemplating such criminal actions.

CP Gumel urges the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to the nearest police station or through emergency contacts for immediate action.

These arrests underscore the police’s dedication to ensuring justice and public safety in Kano State.
