The sprawling commercial center of the northern fringe of Oke-Ogun zone of Oyo state – Saki, today in Abuja recorded her first set of members of the elite circle of the legal profession referred to as the Senior Advocate of Nigeria -(SAN), as two senior lawyer indigenes of the town were today inducted into the revered club.
The two inductees, as providence would have it, shared similar parental backgrounds rooted in the legal profession, with Mr Ademola Kamardeen ABIMBOLA, SAN , as son to the immediate past Chief Judge of Oyo state, Hon. Justice Munta Ladipo Abimbola rtd, while the second – Mr Atilola Omosanya Popoola, SAN , is son to Hon. Justice Stephen Laoye Popoola, rtd.
Both have been into legal practice since their graduation some two decades ago, and rising to become Partners in their respective Chambers; Afe Babalola & Co (Emmanuel Chambers), Abuja, and Temitope Chambers, Ibadan respectively. More information to come in our subsequent publications.
