Sequel to the directive of H.E. President Muhammadu Buhari suspending the country from participating in all international basketball competitions and activities for a period of two years which consequently led to her withdrawal from the FIBA Women’s world cup 2022 in Belgrade. A popular female basketballer EZINNE KALU has reacted to the withdrawal saying, “she doesn’t think she will ever represent Nigeria again” she made this known on her verified twitter handle through a post earlier today.
The international Basketball Federation, FIBA, has replaced Nigeria’s female basketball team, the D’Tigress with Mali for the FIBA Women’s Basketball world cup 2022 in Belgrade.
