THE HEART OF PRAYERS

The heart is the altar where the sacrifice of prayers is laid, God is so much interested in the heart of a man that is praying, when God hear a sound of prayers he looks directly to the heart of the person offering the prayers like he said to Samuel, for the lord does not sees as man sees, for man looks at the outwards appearance but the lord looks at the heart 1Sam 16vs7, Prayers is a communication between man and God, it is having a communion with God, Prayers establishes and maintains relationship with God, prayers closes the communication gap between God and man, the gap that exists when man lost direct access to the manifest and physical presence of God in the Garden of Eden, I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid Gen3vs 10, God does not create man as a self-dependent being, man ought to fully depend on God, God original intention was for Him and man to cohabit, without God man is nothing,(John 15vs3) as a way of filling this vacuum that existed between God and man God pick the heart of a man to connect with him in the place of prayers, the point of prayers is the point where your heart connect with God, the heart of a man is the most important part of the body, the heart is common to all human, your heart reveals the real you, what you truly are and not what others think you are, or what circumstances forces you to be, your heart determines why you say things, why you feel the way you do and why you act the way you do, physically, each of us has a unique heartbeat, just as each of us has a unique thumbprint, eye print, voice print, our heart beat in slightly different patterns, it’s amazing that out of all the billions of people who have ever lived no one has had a heart beat exactly like yours, God has chosen the heart of a man to communicate with him because of the special abilities the heart possess, the holy scriptures, talks about the different form, shape, and the state, the heart of a man can be, the heart can be pure, holy, right, the heart can pant, the heart can be desperate, the heart can be stony, the heart can be perfect, the heart can be far, the heart can meditate
What the heart of prayers should look like, let’s consider 3 of them
1. PURE
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God Matt 5vs6 only a pure heart guarantees our access to God, a heart of prayers is such a pure one, no dirty, full of debris, iniquities, impurities heart can come close to God, as the art and act of prayers intends to draw man close to God the heart must be purified to obtain it, James 4vs8, as prayers take a man through to the hill of the Lord, the heart must be pure Ps 24vs4, the heart of prayers is not the heart that backbites, gossip, lie, devise wickedness
2. WHOLE
You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart, Jere29vs13 a divided heart cannot see God on the altar of prayers, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea is driven and tossed by the wind, for let not that man (heart) suppose that he will receive anything from God James 1vs6,7 a doubting heart is will definitely miss God, God will seems divided to you if your heart is divided, you will be finding it very difficult to catch up with God on all the different part that you have divided your heart into as a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the person Prob27vs19
3. RIGHT
Your heart must be right in the sight of God, your heart must be right with the Will of God, your heart must be right with the Purpose of God, your heart must be right with the Plan of God, your heart must be right with the Word of God, your heart must be right with your prayer point, no matter how good your prayer point is, no matter how desperate you are willing to sacrifice on the altar of prayers, your heart must firstly be right. Peter rebuke Simon the Sorcerer thus, you neither have part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God, Simon was asking for the Holy spirit, the best Gift of the God to the church, yet his heart disqualifies him, if anyone seeks to get anything from God on the altar prayers he should ask with a right heart, 1John 5vs14
CLEAN YOUR HEART
You are clean now through the words I have spoken to you John 15vs 3, the only means available by which we can clean our heart is the word of God, it purges, it purifies, it sanctifies, how? by meditating on the word, your word have hidden in my heart that in might not sin against Ps119vs 28, the word strengthens the heart in the place of prayers, how I love your word it is my meditation all day Ps119vs97, the word of God is ever pure and you are what you eat, eat the pure word of God and you will be pure
HEART ATTACK
Because the devil knows the importance and how vital the heart is to God, he always makes sure they state of the heart is rough, dirty, impure, imperfect, wrong, offensive by launching attack, to ensure man is disconnected from God, we have a unique emotional “heart beat” that races when we think about the subject, activities, or communicates, that interest us, what touches our heart varies, so Satan is careful at what he knew is able to contaminate the heart and throws at it, he uses legal things to disrupt the state of our heart, just as the physical heart attack demand urgent and special medical attention, we also should pay quality and urgent attention to whatever aim at contaminating our heart. And keep watch over your heart with all care; so you will have life proverbs4vs23
