According to Adebayo Taofiq, the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), 18 trailers have already been removed.

Bolaji Oreagba, the General Manager of LASTMA, emphasized that this enforcement will be an ongoing effort to address issues caused by trailer drivers and restore order in various locations.

Oreagba also highlighted the importance of educating drivers on responsible parking through seminars and urged the public to report instances of careless parking.

Violating drivers will face legal consequences, as LASTMA is committed to enforcing traffic rules according to the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law, 2018.

Motorists are encouraged to play an active role by reporting any abandoned trailers or tankers to LASTMA hotlines (08100565860, 08129928515, 08129928593).
