In Oyo town, traders and market women from four local government areas rallied behind Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje, electing her as their Iyaloja-General.

Konibaje secured 7 votes in the election, surpassing her main challenger, Princess Folasade Abeo, who received 2 votes, while 3 clusters abstained from voting.
