Oyo State’s First Lady, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, hosted a Christmas party for children from the 33 local government areas at Agodi Gardens, Ibadan.
The festive event included games and gift distribution. Mrs. Makinde encouraged children to express love through actions toward family and friends.
She urged parents to extend love to others and the less privileged, emphasizing the Christmas season’s message of love, joy, and gratitude.
The event, attended by dignitaries, featured gift distribution by Santa Claus, fostering a joyous celebration of the holiday spirit. Present at the celebration were Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni; Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Toyin Balogun; Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mrs. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi; Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Miss Wasilat Adegoke, lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North State Constituency, Honourable Bisi Oluranti Oyewo-Micheal, and others.
