In continuation of her consultative meetings with All Progressives Congress Party- (APC) stalwarts across the senatorial district, Mrs Olawunmi Ogunesan, CON, former Head of Service in Oyo State, and Oyo North Senatorial seat hopeful, has urged Party members to remain united towards 2027 elections in order to ensure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term, so that, “our party’s Renewed Hope Agenda can fully mature to deliver its loaded benefits to our country men and women”.
This call was made over the weekend in Saki, headquarters of Saki-West local government, by the only female aspirant from the zone vying for the senatorial seat, working towards replacing the incumbent who is currently in his third term as Senator representing the zone.
She assured the gathering of Leaders, Stakeholders and enthusiastic members of the party present, that the Elders and other reconciliation apparatus of the party have successfully resolved all issues of friction amongst different tendencies within the party, and, “our party as at today stands stronger and united; poised for victory in the coming elections”.
She prayed for the continuous repose of the souls of all the departed party leaders and members, while expressing her profound appreciation for the show of love displayed by the impressive crowd of party loyalists and other well-wishers, who were present at gathering.
