HRM, Dr. Surv. Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi, the Okere of Sakiland has charged members of the newly inaugurated Iseyin Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association to be relentless in their pursuit of justice, professionalism and service to humanity in the discharge of their duties to the society.
This admonition, according to the statement from the Palace Media, came on the heels of the formal inauguration ceremony of the body of legal professionals held at Iseyin Town Hall, Iseyin, the gateway city to the Okeogun region of Oyo State, yesterday, March 28, 2026.

The Statement;
“The Okere of Sakiland, Oba Dr. Surv. Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III, today attended the inaugural ceremony of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Iseyin Branch, held at the Iseyin City Hall, Oja-Oba, Iseyin.
The epoch-making event brought together distinguished members of the legal profession, Royal fathers, and eminent personalities from across the state and beyond. The Guest Speaker, Olanrewaju Akinsola, SAN (Oniwoguramotu), delivered a thought-provoking and inspiring address, emphasizing the critical role of the legal profession in upholding justice, strengthening democratic values, and fostering societal development.
The occasion was further dignified by the presence of Special Guests of Honour, including Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN, President of the Nigerian Bar Association; Mr. Abiodun Ayodeji Aikomo, Honourable Attorney General of Oyo State; and Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association.

Kabiyesi expressed profound appreciation to the Chief Host, Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmed Adeniyi Raji, SAN, and the Grand Host, Hon. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola (Rtd.), for organizing what he described as a “lofty and well-coordinated event that reflects the dignity and importance of the legal profession.”
The Okere commended the leadership of the newly inaugurated NBA Iseyin Branch and charged members to remain steadfast in the pursuit of justice, professionalism, and service to humanity. He reaffirmed the palace’s continued support for initiatives that promote peace, rule of law, and community development”.
